This weekend, Britt, Rachel and i got together to take pictures! I'm not really a fan of pictures but whatever. We got a couple of good ones....

House

So i said i would keep a regular update on the house this is as of tonight. The basic structure is complete... Shingles will be on sometime this week and we are now working on plumbling!!

8th ward girls camp

This was taken on our hike. We found a bunch of water snakes and everyone was passing them around. Fun stuff!
This was before the hike, we were all still full of energy... It would be diferent when we got back. [:
Fun with dressups! Skits are always interesting with a group of 30 teenage girls.
Hahahah. This is not what you think. We had a 'fake' accident on the hike. A girl pretended she got hurt so the beehives could learn what to do in an emergency situation. Gross huh?

So, this year i decided to go to two girls camps. (Not even in a week of each other!) I'm not sure i was thinking straight when i did this... I went to my ward's then to the ward i'll be moving in to. I wasn't sure what to expect at first. I knew a bunch of the girls but i thought it would be a good way to get to know all of them. I was a YCL (youth camp leader) so i got to help out with a bunch of stuff. The camp was about 5 days, and we got poured on the first 2. The rain made everything dirtier and more miserable. The camp was pretty laid back but i would have to say that i enjoyed 6th ward's more. Here are some fun pics.

Glow in the dark Mini Golfing!

Neat huh??? This is the jungle theme. I don't really think me and mary were supposed to be in this boat... There was a pirate sign in it that said no trespassing. We decided it was just part of the decorations. haha

This morning, i went mini golfing with my friend mary and her family. I'd never been to this place before. It was all black light with different themes. There was a dinasoar section, a jungle section and an ocean section. The place was seriously decked out. There was 18 holes and i shot par! Who knew i was good at minigolf. (; Mary and I had fun playing around the place and taking pics. Here are a few.

Twilight Saga

If you didn't know, i'm slightly obsessed with the twilight series. Breaking Dawn was released Friday night but i had to wait until sunday so i could borrow a copy from a friend. I finished last night at 2 am! I couldn't put it down!!! It was such a good book. The best of the series i think. If you've read it, leave me a comment and tell me what you thought! (:

The new house

As you all probably know, we are building a new home! It is pretty exciting because i've never been through this. The house is definately coming along and the finish date is sometime in december. I'm guessing we'll finish it before then but we have a 6 month lease in our rental home so we will have to wait. Here are a couple pictures of what the house looked like on July 31st. I will try to post more as the house is being built so you can see all the stages. The picture where you can see the stairs is the entryway to the house and the one that isn't far along is my room!
